Below is a list of data available on the USGS Coastal and Marine Geology Program's Cape Cod and Massachusetts Bay Internet Map Server. Data have been compiled from various published sources and most of the data are currently available on-line for viewing and download. Some data layers for the Cape Cod and Islands Internet Map Server have been created by outside sources and are believed to be within the public domain. A list of USGS GIS data publications are currently available on-line for user access and downloads.

These data were collected by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Ocean Service (NOS) branch as part of their periodic hydrographic mapping for nautical charting. The raw datasets were provided by NOAA to the Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management (CZM) and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in Woods Hole, MA and were processed to complete a composite mosaic of the data.
